Jobico in RolePark

Jobico is a direct-hire IT job board. Through the Jobico employer API, RolePark publishes your vacancies on Jobico, sets up the webhook by itself and brings applications into the Inbox with the source “Jobico”. A vacancy created in the Jobico account can simply be linked too.

Updated:

What you need

  • A Jobico employer account with company admin rights: only an admin can issue the API key.
  • The company admin role in RolePark: only admins see the Jobico card.
  • A Jobico company approved for publishing. Until Jobico approves it, a vacancy published from RolePark shows “Awaiting Jobico approval”.

Step 1. API key in the Jobico account

  1. In your Jobico employer account open the «API та ATS» (API & ATS) page.
  2. Create an API key. It starts with jk_live_. Jobico shows the key only once, so copy it right away.
  3. There is one key per company on Jobico. A new key cancels the old one immediately.

Step 2. Connect in RolePark

  1. In RolePark open Settings → Job boards → the Jobico card.
  2. Paste the key and click Connect. RolePark checks the key with Jobico right away and shows the result on the card.
  3. After that the card shows only the last four characters of the key, the connection status, the webhook status and a log.

Step 3. Webhook: RolePark sets it up

  1. You do not set up the webhook yourself: as soon as the key is accepted, RolePark registers its webhook address in Jobico and stores the secret encrypted. There is nothing to copy or paste.
  2. The “Test the webhook” button asks Jobico to send a test event; it appears in the card log. RolePark does not create a candidate from a test event.
  3. If Jobico already sends applications to another system’s webhook address, RolePark does not replace it silently: the card shows where applications go now and offers “Replace with RolePark”.
  4. Applications arrive without the webhook too: RolePark checks Jobico by itself every 15 minutes. The webhook cuts the wait to a few seconds.

Where applications appear

  • Applications arrive in the vacancy’s Inbox tab with the source “Jobico”, with the cover letter and the answers to screening questions. Accept or decline them as usual: Jobico sees an opened application as viewed and a declined one as rejected.
  • RolePark stores the CV in its own storage right away: the file link on Jobico stops working once the candidate deletes the file.
  • Applications that reached Jobico before you linked the vacancy appear within 15 minutes after linking. Applications to vacancies that are not in RolePark do not come in.
  • If the person is already in your database, there is no duplicate: the application is added to the existing candidate.

Jobico commission

  • Posting on Jobico is free. Jobico charges a commission only for a hire, on its own terms.
  • Jobico’s commission terms apply to hiring a candidate from Jobico. RolePark pays nothing and does not confirm the hire with Jobico — you do that in your Jobico account.
  • That is why RolePark reminds you of Jobico’s terms on such a candidate’s card and in the Inbox.

Security

  • The API key and the webhook secret are stored encrypted and never shown back, not to you and not to other users.
  • RolePark accepts a webhook only if its signature matches the secret and is not older than 5 minutes. A repeat of the same delivery does not create a second application.
  • RolePark works with Jobico only through the employer API: it publishes and updates your vacancies, registers the webhook and sends back the application status. RolePark does not sign in to your account.

How to disconnect

  • Open Settings → Job boards → Jobico and click “Disconnect”. The key is deleted from RolePark, the RolePark webhook is removed from Jobico, vacancy links are removed and new applications stop coming in.
  • Vacancies on Jobico stay as they are: close them in RolePark before disconnecting or in the Jobico account.
  • If you revoked or replaced the key on Jobico, the card shows “Key invalid”. Paste the new key.
